In 9/2020 I submitted a claim to my insurance company to replace my roof. It was fairly simple because it was a T-Lock roof and they have been discontinued. There wasn't a fight with my insurance company but they drowned me in paperwork, which if not properly filled out would have been a fight. I did have to work with the insurance company over the phone and in person for a few weeks but I have a background as an adjuster so it was faily simple. Once that was done it was time to hire a contractor. This was the nightmare. The good ones are busy and the bad ones are coming out of the woodwork. At one point after a few months I got desperate and frustrated and I am still trying to get my money back from a contractor that didn't do any of the work. Yes, I paid for my roof twice. Finally after searching and interviewing for a year and one month I found the right guy for the job.I decided to start 406 CC to make sure I can help as many people as possible to NOT have to go through what I did.
