Britt Minks was first licensed in property and casualty insurance at the age of 19. He worked part-time through college and soon after became the managing agent of an insurance brokerage.

At the age of 27, Britt bought his first insurance agency in Tulsa, OK, and that agency quickly became the top-performing agency in the 7-state region. During this time, Britt noticed a significant disconnect between clients, contractors, and the claims process as a whole. He recognized a space in the contracting industry for an ethical company focused on clarity and communication for all parties involved, and he started Standard Property Services as a way to bridge that communication gap and create some much-needed clarity.

Britt loves what he does, and, just as importantly, he makes sure it's done right. He continues to maintain his insurance license so that he can stay up to date on new industry practices, rules, and regulations.
